Les Croupiers now has a successful spin-off triathlon section. Phil Cook designs the T-shirts and suggests many of the races; Simon Nurse is, when not injured, our outstanding all-rounder, and Clare Johnson keeps everyone in order. If you want to see the benefits of signing up for the Tri section (and the bad news is that it costs an extra fiver), go see Clare.
The Tri section produced one notable success in 2005 with Martin Clissold's participation in the ITU World Duathlon Championships in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia, where he finished 425th overall. Not bad for a 50-year-old!
