- Flora London Marathon. Julian Baker was first home, as expected, in a creditable 67th place and a time of 2:28:12. Maggie Hughes was first woman, and at least we saw her on TV, being passed by Jon Brown wearing Clare Johnson's vest (Maggie was wearing it, that is, not John Brown) on the carpet over the cobbles. Her position was even more impressive than Julian's, being 55th woman. I think that the link I've given covers everyone, but I expect Jeff Aston to find some more.
