Thanks, Alan. This is a cracking race, and an ideal sharpener for anyone doing an autumn marathon. Even if you simply want to run somewhere different, it's a beautiful location, sheltered from the elements, and definitely a PB course. Doug Morris, the original organiser, was a wonderful organiser and a great servant to our sport. It's a very popular event, and is likely to sell out early, so an early entry is recommended.

What I noticed at Lake Vyrnwy was how everyone has conflicting opinions about its flatness, to me "Flat" means Lliswerry 8/Rose Inn/Magor Marsh and its not that, my definitive result is here Lake Vyrnwy Elevation

as i have made myself lookout for when the most popular race become "open"
one of the best half marathons in wales (and fastest) is lake vyrnwy.
entry forms will be available from next wednesday.
this event is very, very popular (too many verys)but it's that good) miss it at your peril.
