More places for the Yorkhire Dales

January 31, 2005

Due to the rather unexpected (but wholly welcomed) demand for places on the Yorkshire Dales trip, I am pleased to announce that we will be increasing the numbers from 24 to 36 places with the addition of a further mini-bus. So if you fancy indulging in some of the finest hill training and real ale re-hydration to be found anywhere in the UK, pack your flat cap, stick your whippet on a lead and add your name to Clare’s list.

Evening Simon! Just looking though the site and this trip sounds a good laugh. It it open to new boys?? If so,and there is any spaces left I'd like to come. Cheers Stuart Posted by: Stuart C at January 31, 2005 09:46 PM
Stuart, new members are especially welcome! You have to come along and see what being a Les Croup is all about. Your name is on the list. Good man! Posted by: Simon at February 1, 2005 08:40 AM
Hi Beams (Simon), If there are places still available, then get me down on the list! After the bossing everyone gave the Lake District, its only fair to the Dales if we give them the 'croups' treatment too. Surprised Dave Headon put his name down after getting destroyed by Julian last year (so much so that he bottled it from tackling the scree on day 2... man or mouse?) Is Andy Cleves really sure about going? it may be a bit colder than 'Ullswater' up in Yokshire. As for me: well i'm kind of relishing the prospect of another head-on collision with a table... all in the name of fun! Posted by: kit at February 3, 2005 05:36 PM
Of course there's a place for you kit! The Dale does indeed need, and will indeed get, the full croups treatment. Andy (and probably the rest of us) will be stocking up on thermals, down jackets and 6 season (!) sleeping bags. Us Southern softies just ain't used to it. Chat to you shortly about travel arrangements etc. Good to hear from you! Posted by: Simon at February 4, 2005 09:05 AM
Kit, you're very perceptive. If I go swimming this time I'll be keeping my clothes on. Posted by: Andy at February 4, 2005 12:38 PM
