Tri Section AGM
January 01, 2005
As the Triathlon Section of the Club now enters its 2nd year, we are holding our first AGM. This will take place on Thursday 13th January 2005 and will be held upstairs in the club after the announcements. We would like to invite all current and potential members and also anyone else interested to help us review 2004 and progress into the New Year.
Just to remind you all the renewal date for membership of the Triathlon section is 1st January.

Just to add to Phil's post, the AGM is not to be confused with the Tri sections 'gong giving night'. This will take place between the club AGM at the end of January and the dinner dance in May. The winners of the club championships will receive gongs and you will all be on the rough end of some rather ropey after dinner speaking. Coming to a curry house near you!
Thanks, waiter. I'll have a couple of papadums to start, followed by a chicken jalfrezi with pilau rice. Is there any Cobra in the fridge? Don't tell me you've only got Kingfisher - on the Mal Firouz Special Apres-Marathon in London last April, their waiter told us that Kingfisher is a girls drink!
Talking of after-dinner speaking, why don't you invite that Master of Ceremonies and super-Ironman, Geran Hughes. He's a star behind the microphone, and can manipulate any roudy audience round his little finger.
