Gwent League Arrangements

November 27, 2004

The next round of the Gwent League will take place on SUNDAY 5th December (not Saturday 4th). The venue is the University of Bath. Given the lengthy travelling distance, a bus will be available and will leave Llandaff Rugby Club PROMPTLY at 9.30 AM. Race times and distances are:

Ladies 12.10 5.8 K (2 large laps)
Men 2.20 10.6 K (1 Medium and 3 large laps)

Please note that the Sports Centre will not be available this year (no doubt as a result of it being left so muddy last year). So please dress and bring warm clothes to suit any weather conditions. John Griffin has said that the club tent is available to any member who wishes to collect it from his house.

If you haven't yet done so, please inform Simon or Sue, as your respective captains of your intention to compete, and please report to our race day admin. team of Ken/Reg/Derek at least an hour before the off. Remember — they have 50–60 athletes to consider, you only have yourself, so please don't be late!

Hi All, if I am not at the club first thing on Sunday, it means that circumstances have dictated that I need to take my own vehicle. In the event of this, Phil will be there to co-ordinate (if it's needed). Remember that the bus will be leaving the club promptly at 9.30. Good luck to all of our athletes. Let's bag some points!
