Thanks Dave for the photos and a big thank you to Lynne for organising such a marvellous breakfast spread - not to mention the wine and the warm welcome! It was also very nice to meet some of Lynne's regulars, who seemed to fit very easily into the Les Croupiers social groove. The only disappointment of the day was that Jemma came back from the hairdressers without a blonde mullet! Posted by: Dave Lloyd at November 19, 2004 03:41 PM
you mentioned it!!! Posted by: ALAN MANN at November 21, 2004 12:30 PM

Honestly, Doctor, I don't drink more than 14 units a week. Posted by: Clare at November 24, 2004 06:26 PM
What? You had more than that last Saturday night alone! And don't call me Doctor! Posted by: mick at November 24, 2004 11:12 PM

Next patient! Ah yes! Mr Mann. Clear cut case of website threadus interruptus. Take one of these pills four times a day. If you attempt to log on to the Croupiers website during this time you will receive a mild electric shock, which will increase relative to the amount of intrusion. Your character will be otherwise unimpaired by this medication, and you'll be relieved to hear that there are no unpleasant side effects like improved colour co-ordination. You said there ouch were'nt any side efects. ouch I've started wearing even socks.OUCH that hurts. Posted by: alan mann at November 26, 2004 01:27 PM
Too much wine was drunk at Crockerton's. Our aged Chairman & Secretary were led astray by Lynne and have agreed to help her promote a race in Cardiff on March 13th 2005. They can't even remember running in a race. The Secretary, however, remembers running on the first Beaujolais run from the Casino to King's Hotel Newport. WE were fairly young and fit then and arrived at the hotel before the wine. Flash was there and made a speech. He made the same speech in the Civil Service Club the same evening! Thanks Lynne for organising such a great morning. Posted by: Zatopek at November 26, 2004 07:02 PM
