Triathlon and Marathon Training
October 26, 2004
There will be a bike ride on Saturday 30th October, 9.30 from Maindy, out around the Gwent Levels again. There is a Gwent League the following day but people can ride if they want to.
On Saturday 6th November there will be a session down at Merthyr Mawr for anyone interested - 9.30am in the Car Park at Merthyr Mawr. The actual session will depend on who is there. (This is open to anyone.)
Andy Cleves wants to know if there are any marathon training groups running regularly from the club on Sunday mornings. Is there a regular time to meet? (He has lost touch and wishes to get back into the habit of long, Sunday runs.) Replies in the comments, please.

I'm more than happy to negotiate on long Sunday runs, or weekends where they are appropriate (cos of the number of races now on Sunday).Mick
Many thanks, Mick. I feel I should take you up on this, provided I can keep up. I always stick to training better 'in company'. Andy
You know what, Andy? You're simply too modest!
It's whether I can keep up, you're young and still improving, I'm old and trying to preserve a semblance of respectability!
Mick, you NEVER had any respectability to start with!!
Hi Bernie
Wonderful to hear from you as always. The fact that you're surfing our website would appear to indicate:
1) Whoever is paying you is doing so under the mistaken impression that you're actually doing some work!
2) That Les Croupiers website is clearly a lot more interesting than Wrexham's!
Hope you're training hard - looking forward to sharing some stories and beer with you at Croydon.
Andy. Rob, Lex the dog and myself head up river from the rowing club each Sunday morning at 8am. Route depends on where the est squirrels are to be found.
Good to know that Peter! Might join you myself when I can put one foot in front of the other.
Can't spell my own name. Simo should actually read Simon. Oops.
andy i'll join you on the weekend of 14/11/4 as i am doing a race each weekend.(i won't say what i'm doing or some one will sertify me)Don't bother i saw it comming.
Approximately what time will we be back from Merthyr Mawr next Saturday?
The session down at Merthyr Mawr will be about 1 1/2 to 2 hours including the Warm Up and Warm Down.
Will join you at the rowing club 8am Sunday 7th;I will be doing 22 miles if anyone is up for it !
