Congratulations to all athletes who turned out in club colours during the x-country season. Saturday capped off a great season with practically a clean sweep of the team awards. Our Ladies won every category including Senior Ladies and our men performed similarly well, with Swansea just pipping us to the post for Senior men with Les Croups coming 2nd. The overall roll of honour includes.....Richie Bullen and Nigel Webb, 1st and 3rd respectively in the Men Vet 40 category......in the Ladies V35 Mrs Bullen placed superbly in 2nd, with Wendy and Glenda finishing 6th and 7th..... In the Female V50, Ladies Captain Sue Neal took the title, with Annie Conroy, Claire Johnson, Edwina Turner and Mal Roswon all finishing in the top 10
Suffice to say, Sue Neal returned from the race with more plates than a little chef.
