Exceptional results, special announcements, births, marriages, and deaths, that sort of thing.

[Previous entry: Consistency is the Key] [Current Ace] [Next entry: Chris Brasher Dies]
With just a few days to do, this is a time when I get very nervous. We still have 44 accepted entries expected to run, which is the most ever. Ideally we like one lap scorer per runner to ensure an accurate result.
The race starts at 10.00 AM this Sunday morning (2nd March) at Jenner Park, and the race presentation is due at 4.00 PM. This is no obligation to stay for the duration - I'm eternally grateful, as are the runners, for any help received. If you can make it for the start, please report to Richie Bullen by 9.30 AM (Gladstone Road entrance).
Please bring lots of warm clothes and any food / drink you may need, though there will be refreshments around 12.30 (thanks to Pip Hyatt and family).
There are still nine Croups expected to start, so there should be plenty of local interest, as well as potentially the most competitive races we've yet seen. Please come and help if you can!
(for more details - refer to Barry 40 on the website)
Thanks, Mick
