For those who haven't yet heard - John Cox was admitted to Llandough Hospital yesterday with chest pains. Eryl has just phoned me to say that all tests (including the brain scan) have proved negative.
He goes back into hospital next Monday to test for any evidence of blood clotting. It tests then also prove negative, it's the all clear.
Let's keep our fingers crossed. Yesterday's news shocked us all. It's the most elaborate excuse yet used to avoid doing the Barry 40.
I went to see John yesterday after my 19 mile 'race' with Mick,Phil and despite his heart problems a fit Dave Headon.
John was in good spirits and on a shorter lead than Lucky the dog.He was allowed to the porch to see me off. We all wish his test results to day to be clear.
