Blaise to glory

The first Gwent Cross country league fixture of 2003 is nearly upon us. Saturday 1st February is Blaise Castle, a favourite course for some of us, and a welcome resumption of the x-country season. Blaise Castle is located in Bristol and due to the distance, the club will once again be providing subsidised transport, this time in the form of a coach. Could all interested runners please see either Sue Neal (for the ladies) or myself for the men. Places on the coach will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Provided that enough room is available, non-runners are also welcome. Leaving/returning times to be announced.

This opportunity for club members to book their place on the bus should only apply to Flash on the understanding that his place is not behind the wheel.

Mick, I'd like to say that I'm soooo pleased that you've moved on from the public humiliation of Geran. But I'm sorry to say that I can't.

Did I say fast? I meant slow of course. But what dedication that boy Simon has. I'm sure Mr Hughes could learn a thing or two.

Just to clear up any confusion, I did post the article at 7.18 am, from my desk at work (which is where I currently am now). Just to show how committed I am, I will now do the hour in the pool, 10 mile run etc. etc.

In Simon's defence, I feel obliged to point out that the clock on the server is running about half an hour fast. It still means that he was in before 8. Maybe he had the wind behind him when he cycled in.

Count me in for a place on the bus too.

Insomnia? Gosh no! Simon doesn't bother with sleep (sleep is for softies). He's just done an hour in the pool, followed by a quick 10 (miles) and he couldn't think of what to do to fill the 3 mins 26 secs he had spare before going to work. So why not go on the club's website.

Pencil me in for the soujourn to Briste (Bristol in Welsh!)

Geran (ex club capt who did a far better job then the present one)

Thanks, Simon. Book me a place, please. And what are you doing on the computer at 7.18 AM?

Suffering from insomnia?
